Rose Scullion

Rose is from the North of Ireland and relocated to Shannon Co. Clare thirty years ago. She spent time studying painting in Limerick School of Art and Design. Acrylics and graphite are her main choice of medium and she finds mixed media exciting.

As her family were growing up she took to painting and drawing and working on pencil portraits for friends and family. Different cultures and exotic colours are of great interest in addition to faces from around the world. She is creating a body of work showing a human colourful world that is uplifting and she is hopeful that it shows a positive side in this increasingly negative world.
