Karen O’Dowd

Karen is a visual artist and graduate of Fine Art Painting and Education from the National College of Art and Design. She hails from Carrick-on-Shannon originally but now lives and continues to practice in Limerick.

Karen’s work explores the networks which exist between memory, landscape and human experience. Our experience of an environment is both physical and emotional and her imagery makes attempts to capture place suffused with personal and collective experience.
