Caoilfhinn Geary
Caoilfhinn Geary is a visual artist and arts facilitator from Limerick. She works across printmaking, drawing and poetry exploring themes of overwhelm, loneliness and vulnerability. These themes often manifest through performance and self-portraiture, using objects and landscapes as visual tools to draw out an emotional response from the viewer.
In parallel with her fine art practice lies her zine making practice. Caoilfhinn takes to zine making like she would a diary, speaking on topics such as mental health, third places and what it means to be an artist. Her passion for zine-making and community building led her to co-founding the Limerick Zine Fest in 2024, an annual festival celebrating DIY-culture and independent publishing.
Caoilfhinn has a degree in Printmaking and Contemporary Practice from the Limerick School of Art and Design. She is a member of the Limerick Printmakers, where she teaches kids art classes, printmaking and zine workshops and in 2024, she completed a 3-month printmaking internship in Scuola Internazionale di Grafica, Venice. She has been a studio member of Spacecraft Studios since December 2025.
